UPDATE: THIS POST WAS WRITTEN IN NOVEMBER OF 2020. THE DEADINE FOR SUBMITTING TO “I’M SPEAKING NOW” HAS PASSED. TO SEE WHAT OTHER ESSAY TOPICS THE CHICKEN SOUP EDITORS ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR, PLEASE CHECK HERE.

I’ve been included in 13 Chicken Soup for the Soul collections. Because I’d like to make that 14, I keep careful track of their Calls for Submissions.

The deadline for submitting poems and stories? January 15, 2021.

Novelist Breena Clarke will be co-editing the book. (Her first novel, River, Cross My Heart, was an Oprah’s Book Club pick.)
