Writers improve by writing -- and then listening to constructive feedback.

You won't get any better if you don't try to learn about what works and what doesn't work with each story you post.

I'm a writing coach and editor-for-hire so I know what I'm talking about.

Write. And then pay attention to feedback like highlighting and comments. And work with a good editor if you can afford to. And if not? Find somebody in your life you can run your work by who will give you useful feedback.
