I have a friend whose mother was much taller than her father and throughout her childhood, other kids were constantly telling her that a mother isn't SUPPOSED to be taller than a father and expressing a lot of concern about my friend's parents.

My friend grew up to be a very snarky and successful cartoonist and I like to think that talking back to idiots like this helped her become the sassy genius she is today.
