You know that the folks who wrote that code were NOT people of color.

Based on the responses I've gotten to this post it sure seems as if Medium will feed white writing to white readers, and that you have to try very hard to get Medium to do otherwise.

You have (1) to follow a lot of writers of color and (2) tell Medium that you want to read about topics like Social Justice.

Medium can and should do better.

It shouldn't be like that.
